The 2nd Edenmore Hallowen Party organised by the Edenmore Community Safety Group took place on Saturday 31st October. The main party event for young children and their families took place at St Monicas Youth Centre and the place was 'spooktacularly' decorated for all those who turned up - the majority in some amazing fancy dress costumes! Over 300 people packed into the hall and enjoyed some disco music, a wandering clown and eats & treats!
Everybody then paraded up to Edenmore Park for the fireworks display, with Glowsticks in hand. The fireworks this year were even bigger, brighter & louder than last years and recieved a big cheer from the 500+ people who came out to see them.
A big thank you goes out to all those who helped to make the event such a huge success and the Community Safety Group especially thanks the Volunteers, Civil Defense, Dublin City Council and local community people who came along and supported us. This continues to mark an important date in the calendar for the community and is a key initiative promoting positive community activities for young people, families and their children.
