My name is Haley Morrissey and I have been working in Edenmore CDP for the past week as part of my Community Action . I am a Transition year Student in Manor House School in Raheny.
Community Action is time spent to help our Community. It is dedicated to creating a more equal society, that has the well-being of its citizens at its heart. Through community development, based on a human-rights framework, is work with people in asserting their right to participate fully in society, to have their voice heard and their choices respected.
Ive been helping around the office to make sure everything is running smoothly by answering phones, sending letters and I attended some meetings including Northside Community Forum at which I took notes. I have learned during my time at Edenmore CDP that there are alot of people out there trying to help our community and to make it a more positve and motivating place.
