Edenmore CDP Appeal Unsuccessful

As many of you will have been aware, Edenmore CDP had submitted its Appeal against the decision by the Department of Community, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs to stop funding the project. After presenting the Appeals Board with our submission and having met directly with the Appeals Board in person, we received notification of their decision to uphold the original decision. Edenmore CDP has therefore been given no alternative but to close as of Monday 1st February, resulting in the loss of 2 posts (Project Co-ordinator & Project Administrator).

We would like to thank all those who provided direct support in our Appeal and for the hugely encouraging words committed to paper as part of that Appeal. The Staff and Board of Management are deeply appreciative of the acknowledgment and recognition of the work of Edenmore CDP in recent years by local people, organisations and businesses. We regret that this has not resulted in the Appeals Board rescinding the wrong decision previously taken. We would like to re-iterate our view that Edenmore CDP has never duplicated the work of other CDPs in North Dublin and that clear and tangible benefits can be evidenced. A brief perusal of this blog would have been indication enough for any organisation reviewing our work.

We would also like to thank all the people with whom we have worked with, across many diverse, exciting and challenging community issues; we have developed and enhanced relationships that we know will continue in our absence. Edenmore still remains an area requiring strong community, voluntary and statutory interventions that lead to an eradication of poverty, isolation, poor service provision and encourages greater local decision making. We regret that we will no longer be able to play a key role towards achieving those things.

Richard Costello (Co-ordinator)
Amanda Mitchell (Administrator)

Voluntary Board of Management: Ray Daly, Matthias Borscheid, Felim McMahon, Grainne Roche, Betty Brown, Margaret Carroll

Hello everyone. Am here to testify how I got my loan from Mr. Pedro after I applied several times from various loan lenders who promised to help but they never gave me the loan. Until a friend of mine introduced me to Mr.Pedro Jerome promised to help me and indeed he did as he promised without any form of delay.I never thought there are still reliable loan lenders until I met Mr. Pedro, who indeed helped with the loan and changed my belief. I don't know if you are in any way in need of a genuine and urgent loan, Be free to contact Mr. Pedro via WhatsApp +1-8632310632 and his email: pedroloanss@gmail.com thank you.
