As you know the 2nd Edenmore Fun Day has been organised for August 15th at Cameron Green in Edenmore. The Community Safety Group has been working hard to organise this event and we have already got the support of many local people. On the day we will have the support of the Army and Civil Defense, who will be erecting some large tents for us (that'll help if it rains!). St Malachys Football Club are going to be running a penalty shoot-out competition for all ages (girls & boys). We will have entertainment from some local singers and bands, hip-hop dancing and break-dancing. There will be plenty of Arts & Crafts activites for the younger kids and some family friendly games for all to take part in. We will have food and refreshments with the local Ladies Club and Health Centre Doctors getting their aprons on for us! The local CDP Co-ordinator here as promised to shave off his beard and hair (if we can raise enough money to encourage him to do so). There will be a fancy-dress competition for Under 10s in our dressing up area (or come along dressed up already). We have plenty of prizes to rafle on the day and contributions from the local EDIT program & Digital Photography Groups, who will be displaying some of their work... and lots more... so come along and bring the whole family.
