Edenmore Halloween Festival 2009

The 2nd Edenmore Halloween Festival Night is taking place on Sat 31st October! Following on from last years hugely succesful event the Events Organisers from Edenmores Community Safety Group have been working away to provide another evening of spooky fun for all the community. Proceedings kick off at 6.30pm in St Monicas Youth Centre and ends with a fireworks display in Edenmore Park. Come along and show your support for another great Community Event for Edenmore! A big thanks goes out to Dublin City Council for supporting this event through their Community Funding program.

Seniors Excursion to Glasnevin Cemetery

The next Edenmore Seniors Excursion is taking place on Wednesday 28th October and will involve a Guided Tour around Glasnevin Cemetery in Dublin, followed by lunch at a local eatery. To book a place call the office on 8771957. See the poster below for further details.

Edenmore Fun Day 2009

The 2nd Edenmore Fun Day took place in August on Cameron Green. The event was a huge success and built upon the great work done by the Community Safety Group in Edenmore. The event was supported by a range of organisations and individuals, who's contributions ensured the day was enjoyed by all members of the community.

There were Bouncy Castles, Gladiator style games, entertainment from Early House and Ross Breen, food served up by the local GP's, face painters, penalty shoot-out (St Malachys' Football Club), air-brush demo from Christian Kotey, Disco Dancers, art displays and much more. And amazingly enough, the weather turned out to be just perfect!
